We gathered together this Christmas to celebrate the end of a fantastic year with the KUMA family. Our Events secretary Dr Alex Sanghoon Oh did a phenomenal job in securing a private, intimate venue in Notting Hill, London where we enjoyed a personalised menu, attentive staff, good food and delicious cake!
During the evening there was a heartfelt speech from the current KUMA President Dr Paul Seung Cheol Kim to look back over a very fulfilling year including the Health Awareness Day and Academic Seminar, Mentorship programme, FY1 Welcome Social and Medical and Dental school Application Seminar, and to remind us of KUMA's mission statement.
To celebrate the 10th year anniversary of KUMA, we raised our glasses in honour of everyone's contribution, the hard work of the KUMA 2023 committee and our predecessors who paved the way for the recognition and achievement of the Presidential Award that KUMA has received this year. The president handed over to the future KUMA 2024 President Ms Eunsol Kim, and future Vice President Dr Sejung Park as we look forward to another rewarding year.
The evening concluded with fun and games from our amazing Social Secretary Dr Jiin Youn where personalised trophies were bestowed to the winning team. It was a warm and pleasant evening with both familiar and new faces as we celebrated together over good food and amazing cocktails.
